Are you interested in art and curious about how to contribute to protecting the earth’s environment? Will you be in grades 10 – 12 in the fall of 2018? Learn about the intersections of art and ecological issues at Ohio State while earning high school credit. Art & Ecology: Youth at the Wexner Center combines the exploration and production of contemporary art with ecological advocacy. This free program involves field trips to ecological sites on Ohio State’s campus and throughout Ohio, comprehensive online coursework, personal visits from accomplished artists working with ecological issues, and a public exhibition of your own environmentally informed art at the Wexner Center. Supplies are provided along with transportation assistance. Reliable online access is necessary. Students from schools throughout Central Ohio are welcome to apply.
