Teen Internship at the Columbus Museum of Art

WHAT IS ART LAB?blog (002)

Art Lab is the year-long immersive teen internship at the Columbus Museum of Art in which teens practice creativity and advance the CMA mission of creating “great experiences with great art for everyone.”IMG_0405

Teens will experiment, take risks and play in order to create projects, workshops and events for the museum that explore their interest. This core group of 15 teens examine collaboration, underserved audiences and the teen role in civic responsibility by addressing radical inclusion in museums and what real community engagement at art museums can look like. Every Wednesday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm teens meet at the Columbus Museum of Art to develop ideas driven by personal interest and community need. IMG_5499

Intern positions are open to homeschool students and any central Ohio high school allowing internships on Wednesdays.IMG_6330
